Thanks from faraway Italy: read your post, checked the info on WIkipedia, saw that Danny McBride was in it, downloaded without hesitation, laughed for hours.

I LOVE Slither. One of the best horror movie watching experiences I've had. Watched it with a friend a couple of years ago randomly knowing nothing about it. We also really loved Dead Snow 2 when we weren't expecting much.

I'm hesitant to mention this one, but the first 2/3 of Killer Sofa were fantastic. Then it shit the bed the last 3rd. Still worth the watch in my opinion, especially if you're feeling a little goofy.

I recommend NOT watching a trailer for any of these first.

My most recent recommendations:

The Game (1997) on Netflix
Not Quite Hollywood (2008) on Amazon Prime
Last Days Here (2011) on Hulu
Chappie (2015) on Netflix
High Life (2018) on Amazon Prime

Oh and the original Jacob's Ladder (1990), The Tenant (1976), and Phase IV (1974) are back on Hulu.

I also really enjoyed Beasts Clawing at Straws (2020) on Hulu, and The Bridge (1959) on Criterion Channel. District B13 on Amazon Prime is dumb action fun too.
