52First four songs on Badmotorfinger are monumental separately and as a sequence, still. JC Pose just rules. I could do with a lot less caterwauling from Cornell, to the point that some instrumentals of these songs would be welcome. NC.

59Not a huge Soundgarden fan, but I was in the car with the kids today and Rusty Cage came on the radio. It sounded really great, and surprisingly contemporary, which is funny, because I remember Soundgarden sounding a little dated to me when they were current. Perhaps they were ahead of their time, or what is current is really backwards. Probably a little of both.

60I have a daughter in high school marching band, and I end up attending all of the football games to watch the band. The football team somehow has “Rusty Cage” in their pre-game warm-up music.
