Both are great, and both do have amp sims on the XLR out that you can have on or not, even if the pedal isn't engaged. So, you can plug a different pedal in and use the 8x10 sim from the Ampeg pedal or the 2x15 sim from the Fender. I actually like the Fender cab sim better than the Ampeg sim, so for home headphones practice I've been plugging the Ampeg or the big tube Meatsmoke pedal into the Fender and just using the cab sim
Wow, all the Origin Effect amp sims look like a lot of fun! Definitely up my alley.
For what they cost?

They had better be a lot of fun, and able to finish of a sink full of dishes.

I just got mine in the mail today. My plan is to play with it a little to fill my curiosity, and even compare it to the TC Electronic Jims 45. I'm planning on selling it at a very reasonable price.

I might be interested in it at that very reasonable price. Lemme know when you’re there. In the demos I’ve seen comparing the two, the TC one sounded like dog ass comparatively. Interested in your personal findings.

Also, congrats on the new kid!

Just played with the Lion. Its fucking amazing. Ok, call me a Marshall guy, now. I've never been impressed with the 800, which is the one I've seen more than any. Knowing the Traynors were modeled off of Marshalls at the time, I was thinking I was going to like this pedal, but I like it even more than I imagined. All the channels sound great. I was most curious about the Super Bass. It would make for a bass amp in a pinch, possibly a solid bass amp with some proper tweaking. The cabs sound great, too. I turned the cabs off and put it through the Opus with a bass cab and that sounds pretty good, too. Just a really cool pedal if you like these kinds of vintage amps!

Really can't wait to try the TC Electronic Jims 45. If that sounds anywhere close to the Lion, it would be a killer budget pedal amp.

While I know it is going to seem like I am always saying something like this?

For the money that the thing goes for?

It had better be all of that.

That said...

I have never felt like a "Marshall..." person, but I would be perfectly happy if the "Marshall..." in the Quilter SuperBlock UK was the only sound I had for however long I'm around.
