I'm currently revising my approach to note-taking, journalling etc. Using Obsidian for this which seems to be the most versatile software, and most fitting for my needs. If anyone has any tips and primers for this sort of thing then I'd really appreciate them, as most of the folks online are an utter fucking chore to get through.

Are you sure? I've only done some rudimentary Googling, but this Obsidian software you're using seems pretty fucking weird to me:

That's actually a reasonable approximation of how I feel trying to get to grips with it.
