I mean, of all the terrible ideas, at least Desantis has run something big like the State of Florida. He's still a piece of shit, the bar is pretty low.Krev wrote: Wed Dec 04, 2024 9:49 am Secretary of Defense Ron DeSantis. His only experience is a passive-aggressive cold war with Disney World.
I guess Ron is better than an inebriated Fox host with Christian nationalist tattoos. The bar is extremely fucking low, like you said.cakes wrote: Wed Dec 04, 2024 11:26 amI mean, of all the terrible ideas, at least Desantis has run something big like the State of Florida. you don't have to pay your taxes. try it and see how it goeszorg wrote: Mon Dec 02, 2024 1:10 pmGreat, why didn't Joe start with actual incarcerated people who didn't get a fair shake in that case? Also, can I not pay my taxes either? Because that would be terrific.eephus wrote: Mon Dec 02, 2024 12:49 pm Putting newly-sober people in jail for victimless shit they did while addicted is dumb and vindictive.
No-brainer, adhering to some "rule of law" nonsense here was always the wrong thing to do.
Not sure where you're going with this, but I imagine that it would end much like Hunter's experience, but without the pardon. I struggle to see how anybody (other than his parents) could have anything but zero sympathy for a nepo-baby millionaire who drags other people down with him, including his love child. There are limits to what an addiction can absolve you of, and he has easily exceeded those.eephus wrote: Thu Dec 05, 2024 1:28 pmyou don't have to pay your taxes. try it and see how it goeszorg wrote: Mon Dec 02, 2024 1:10 pmGreat, why didn't Joe start with actual incarcerated people who didn't get a fair shake in that case? Dude, partisan politics are so 2024. But sure, take your pick and you can throw them into the lineup for the Gleeful Reaction thunderdome.
