The Guardian podcast debunks in a more agnostic way.

There’s a bunch of very high value prizes for proof of psychic phenomena under controlled conditions. The most famous was James Randi One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge that ran from the mid 60s to 2015.

Who knows, maybe the kids in this podcast are psychic. I very much doubt it. Especially since the precursor is ASD, which is not a disease but a collection of symptoms. Therefore every kids in the “study” will be expressing ASD for very different reasons.

This is just Ripley’s Believe It or Not for the 21st century. Still fun, like YouTube videos on the Occult

OK so I listened to the debunking podcast. They mention the Telepathy Tapes (TT) exactly one time, and address literally none of the subject matter in the podcast, they don't mention non-speaking autism at all, which is the focus of the podcast. So effectively they debunk nothing of the TT.

Admittedly, the later episodes the TT do veer off the path of the first six and get kinda "out there." But the first six and half of the seventh episode are fascinating.

It should be remembered also that there is exactly zero proof that consciousness exists, yet we generally accept that it does.

The Guardian podcast is talking about telepathy in general because the most popular podcast on Apple is about telepathy.

I’ll give the podcast a listen, but it’ll take more than a show about the subject that’s studies haven’t been subjected to peer review to change my mind. I suspect if/when peer review is requested they be refused by the podcasters involved.

Who knows, maybe I’m wrong and science will irrefutably prove people with severe autism are psychic. I think it’s more likely in a couple of years we’ll be watching a Netflix show about how they scammed everyone.

Lately there’ve been some episodes that are less strong, but that’s more a reflection on the guest telling their story. There’s always something good, even for those without a technical background like myself.

The episode I linked will really suck you in. It’s about this bright woman from Montana who, following 9/11, channels a clocker-bob level of dedication to exploring the motives behind the attacks… except ends up VERY successfully infiltrating al-queda via online forums which results in thwarting an attack.
It’s pretty incredible

Smart and delightful ~30m de-bunking of conspiracies and misinformation campaigns (both classic and current), hosted by former CIA officers. The episode linked is about the JFK assassination, which is great but I’m having trouble locating the episode which really blew my mind about the current state of Christian nationalist rhetoric, which I thought I had a general idea about… but the gulf between my echo chamber and other Americans is deeper and wider than I’d expected.
