New EO says only the president and the AG can determine the laws.
It's only funny if you consider that the SCOTUS has just become irrelevant by EO. What can the judiciary do? Will the US Marshalls ignore Trump and Bondi's orders? The law is not being carried out faithfully by the POTUS, and no one is holding him accountable. He just keeps walking forward and ignoring the law... until he's the final arbiter. How are we not already in a constitutional crisis? What more needs to take place?

We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.

4274You've quoted me falsely.zorg wrote: Wed Feb 19, 2025 11:53 amInteresting take...I don't hear that concern being raised except by the usual unpopular parties (Czechs, Hungarians, German's right wing etc...). To the point where EU instead keep talking about rearming for WWIII (with American weapons, no doubt). In fact the news is all about the Baltics cutting all electrical supply with Russia a week ago.Gramsci wrote: Wed Feb 19, 2025 10:52 am The EU’s biggest concern is energy security. They want this to end and get back to normal-ish relations with Russia. This is more what I hear from everybody. And I get it that Ukraine got the shaft here, and they have an absolute right to complain....but why is there this absolute hysteria about a Russian invasion in Europe? I'm old enough to remember the first cold war, and the rhetoric is the same. But based on what exactly? They'd been loudly dicking around about Ukraine since the 80's. I don't know of other such simmering disputes with powers in mainland Europe, other than the ongoing tit-for-tat campaigns to install puppet governments in the usual vassal states, but that is business as usual. I just don't get why a Sweden should be afraid of Russia...besides EU being (now regrettable) friends with the US. That's not to say you should agree with or like the Russians....but doesn't the level of fear seem misplaced and possibly misleading?jimmy spako wrote: I definitely wish Russia wasn't so damn close.
For anybody interested I felt this is a fairly even handed summary of what got us here, published before the whole Trump charm offensive.
That was coming from FM emmanuelle cunt, who lives in Poland, probably in the East from what I remember.
Maybe you should listen to him.
And listen to people from the former republics of the former USSR. And take a look at their history.

4275New executive order expands access to IVF
"Out of more than 413,000 artificial reproductive technology cycles recorded in 2021, only 112,088 resulted in pregnancy. Of those, only 97,128 babies were successfully born, according to U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data."
How do the pro-life/anti-abortion folks feel about all this? That's a LOT of dead potential humans.

Modern Christians are some of the biggest liars and crooks in human history. Their primary concern right now is legalizing a child workforce and making it so they can assault children sexually under the pretense that they're of breeding age at 15. They wanna marry children. They've been taught to hoard money, and hate their neighbors for how they might potentially vote. They literally care for nobody but themselves.enframed wrote: Wed Feb 19, 2025 12:56 pm How do the pro-life/anti-abortion folks feel about all this? That's a LOT of dead potential humans.

4277Well to be fair he also blames Europe and Biden, and yeah, that I can get behind....I am surprised by just how much he loves Putin, but like most things Trump you can't fault his transparency. Why deny it, the US and Russia are ultimately kindred spirits. They love hero worship, the worst instincts of the proletariat, military cocksmanship, tractors, bribes, mercenaries, killing their enemies, torture, assassinations, toppling foreign governments, fossil fuels, and themselves, and lets not forget how they were the twin saviors of Europe in WWII.joe_lmr wrote: Wed Feb 19, 2025 12:33 pmWhat's sad is there's a non-trivial number of leftists who would agree with this, some of them in this thread.
