I guess it probably is coincidental. Expecting the absolute worst drives one to conspiratorial thinking. Both parties are united on leveling Gaza.

I look around my neighborhood, a very mixed area of race and income. Practically everyone has a brand new car. Most people around my seem to be expecting the worst.
