Just won a Shure VP88 on eBay for a hundo. Says untested so who knows if it works. It's on some eBay store that doesn't have any other audio gear so maybe they just don't know what it is. Cool mics, hope it works.

I bought a big box. It's like a shipping container that folds out to a ~16'x20' shed/room. My audio stuff will go in here. It was either this or a storage unit and no fucking way am I paying a subscription to not use my stuff. Price was favorable to any shed you're gonna find at the hardware store.

I'm in southern California though. There may be someone near you that sells them too. That said, they're built in and shipped from China, I got pre-tariff pricing, so who knows how things will go now. If you find a place that has them in stock you may not have to worry about such things. you can google stuff like "expanding storage container" and you'll find stuff. not exactly cheap, but like I said, better value per sqft than anything you'll find at lowes.

Donner Fuzz Seeker—same circuit as the Joyo Voodoo Octave, which is roughly the same circuit as the F—tone Ultimate Octave, but in a horizontal form factor that theoretically should fit on the upper rail of my Metro 20. This is hopefully to replace my DOD Carcosa and EQD Bit Commander though I know off the bat it’s kind of a compromise with both on the lesser side—no bias knob, no lower and sub octave. Until someone builds something like a Bit Commander where you can turn the synth part off with its own footswitch, this is where I’m gonna try planting the flag.

TC Electronic Plethora X1. Ultimately not really a fan of the form factor and workflow of my Zoom Multi-Stomp, while I’m very used to the Toneprint software on my Flashback II. This will hopefully be my “weird effect for one song” pedal.

Got a damn Yamaha Reface electric piano coming now. Hope I hate it

It’s the MS-70CDR. Don’t know if I’m gonna let go of it if the Plethora takes its place, but I’ll keep you in mind if I do flip it and you’d be interested.
