Hey team- As many of you know, I make a habit of stopping at every guitar shop I can, all over the world. I almost always end up having great conversations with the folks who work there, learning a lot about them, their scene and all the cool local shit. I thought that maybe I should start recording these chats.
So I did just that. First conversation was with the owner of the shop where I teched for 8 years. Still learning the software, which is a lot more skittish than Premier or other systems I'm used to, but I got the broad strokes. The idea is to post something at least every 2 weeks.
There are a number of fine folks on this forum that I'd love to chat with at some point.
I'd appreciate any assistance in helping w/ refinement and finding an audience.

4I'll be interviewing my buddy Marcus later today. He spent a couple decades on the road, teching for bands like BuckCherry, Five Finger Death Punch and Everclear. I hope to get even a tiny fraction of the hilarious stories he shared when we worked together.
How do we feel about things like giveaways? I've got all sorts of tshirts, stuff from around the shop, even some prototype guitars. It'd be nice to dispose of those things in a way that helped the 'brand' rather than just selling them off.

7Newest video with the tour tech is really great! I've known a few folks who've done that life full time and it really seems like a drag after a while if you have any desire to pudd around at home.

Thanks everyone. This has been a lot of fun and I've got all sorts of ideas for folks to talk to and projects to share.
Speaking of. A while back I finished this guy- a tb500 shaped tenor guitar. 24" scale, weight 4.5 pounds. super fun to play, sounds pretty great. I could sell it, but would also be fun to use it as a giveaway for something related to the band, youtube or guitar building. I'd love to hear everyone's Ideas?

10Episode 4- rebuilding a strat. This was a lot of fun, and I learned a few new things about the software I'm using.
