In my stupid suburban cover band, I’ve been trying to get the others to play songs like “Friends of Mine”. They don’t wanna.
Do it.

They totally had a post-punk vibe, specifically I think they were Siouxsie/McGeoch fans.

Didn't get my guitar back yesterday, but likely will today or tomorrow.

I learned within the past week that the fee I got slapped with just before the pickups were delivered wasn't a tariff but instead VAT. So this is one thing I can't blame on the current administration; was mistaken there. Among many instances of buying things from overseas, I can't remember ever dealing with VAT before, though vaguely I remember hearing about it.

The other day, I was more or less running on fumes when I looked up what the hell VAT is all about, so I couldn't wrap my head around it. Today I'm better rested but just thinking about it feels like a hassle. Therefor, it shall remain a mystery.
