Agreed on most of the above, but it's now also looking like Saudi Arabia, continuing the age-old Sunni vs. Shiia Muslim conflict, has Trump's ear and is as much of an advocate for invading Iran as Israel is. Seeing as Saudi defense forces can't even handle some angry Houthis, getting the US to do the military dirty work on their country's behalf is ideal for them.

Yeah, that's why they gave Kushner $2b and are giving him more. It's the cheapest investment: you pay a fraction of the cost for military infrastructure and instead outsource it to a client state, like the United States. As long as there's a willing idiot to take the money and let you do it, which is what Trump is. So we've essentially become a client state of the worst in the middle east. This is what MAGA voted for. It's not America first, that's for damn sure.

Trump wants out. The economic impact will crush is popularity into (even more) record levels of unpopularity, likely resulting in a GOP struggle session for the mid terms. If there’s one thing we know about this guy, it’s being thought of as a loser on the economy means more to him than a bunch of countries he’s couldn’t give two fucks about.

Iran will keep blustering to save face, Trump will keep pissing on everyone and telling them it’s raining. The biggest risk here is a misalignment of each side’s bullshit and Don dropping a tactical nuke on their uranium depot.

Does he? I just saw a story where the 82nd airborn division commander has been deployed to the middle east. Either he's getting fucked over by dipshit Hegseth, or by Israel. Either way, no one is letting little Donnie off the hook. This year is gonna suck, and it's gonna suck when the mid-terms get thwacked. Bannon's out there claiming ICE at airports is a trial run for the voting booths. We'll see if that even happens, but I still think the outcome of the mid-terms, not the vote counts, but what Trump and Republicans do with it, are going to reveal what the future of America is going to be.

Also, anyone see the story about the Moonbase? While it sounds ridiculous, the chilling part is the language. It's not a US Moonbase, it's a Trump Moonbase. The federal government is being rebranded.
