Is it ok in the 1'st trimester, the 2nd, the third? And why.

There are so many angles to the abortion issue. What are yours?

over 6 billion people on the planet. abortion should be legal anytime, all the time, like up to the 8th month or some shit. after the kid's born, you should be able to give it up for adoption easily if you don't really want it. it's easy to argue that the people who get pregnant on accident are either 1) idiots, or 2) weak. if you don't want a baby, and you're not an idiot, use condoms *and* birth control pills *and* pull out. the combination of the three is pretty solid. if you can't pull that shit off, DON'T HAVE SEX. if you can't figure out how to effectively use birth control, and you can't resist the urge to have safe sex, then you're both an idiot *and* weak, and the last thing this planet needs is your baby added into the pool of jackasses we've already got.

is that hot-button enough? will i be elected?

PS - for pro-lifers who use the argument that life begins at conception, i like to ask them how many times have they celebrated their conception day, as opposed to their birthday. it's a dumb question, but sometimes it's fun to watch people scramble for an answer if they don't have one prepared.

"natural"? how about if instead of getting an abortion, a woman gives birth and then eats the baby if it's weak? because that's certainly "natural", and the practice of numerous types of animals.

The young are always born before that happens. How are you gonna argue that abortion is not unnatural?

i'm assuming you meant to ask how am i gonna argue that abortion is *natural*. i tend to mince words, and thus that would be a weeks-long debate about the meaning or utility of the word "natural". for example, a human being born with three arms is arguably a "natural" phenomonon, as is the act of committing murder, as is taking a shit in public.

OK, some people need to realize that the length of time that you've lived doesn't make you any more of a real person. If you have any idea what a fetus looks like you would realize that it is indefinitely a real living human being. If you dont think that "aborting a pregnancy" is cold blooded murder you are wrong. And who gave you the right to decide (whether or not a fetus is a real livivng person) to abort that person or soon to be persons chance at life. If you think it wouldn't matter I'm sure you wouldn't mind if you were aborted before birth.

you seem to be missing one crucial point, that being that in my case, my parents wanted to have a kid and did. in the case of someone getting an abortion, they DON'T want to have a kid. you're arguing that they need to be forced to go through a childbirth that they don't want to, so they can give the child away (adoption), either that or you're going to force them to have a kid they don't want, in which case they will arguably make a terrible parent and the kid will potentially have a terrible life. yes, it's cold to say that unwanted kids are not necessary, but if you know what life is like for many of the kids in the foster system (i.e. their parents were either awful, or the kid was just not wanted, *nobody* wants to adopt them at age 10 when they've got a history of violent behavior and in many cases acting out the same sexually violent behavior that's been purpotrated on them, *as a child*. there are already too many humans on the planet, cold, sure, but if you look at the growth rate of the human population on earth, you'll see that all of our problems are destined to only become worse and worse (i.e. unemployment, overcrowded prisons, overflowing landfills etc) as time goes on. call it murder if you want.

i believe, when it makes me feel good, that things happen for a reason. i believe in this case that if my parents aborted me, it would have been for a reason. and they didn't abort me for a reason. that's probably all crap, but it's what i choose to believe.
