well, i think so but my view of what is poppy is based on whether or not i'll dance to it straight away. actually, i think i dance to pretty much all fall. shit. well, you know what i mean, it's very pretty. for the fall. it's like what the strokes could have been like if they were ugly.

My friend is doing a Fall disco next Saturday night in Leeds at The Faversham. I'm chipping off to Bolton with pretty much every good band in Leeds but if it's within your range...

I can see the ground from the end of my road, but can no longer afford to go. Fuck it anyway. Last weekend I bought two beautiful 'Division Two Champions 1990' mugs in a charity shop. They match the pennant in my bathroom. That's the era I like. We'll have to stop this line of discussion before someone kills us.

I'm disappointed to miss the disco actually. 'ALL FALL - ALL NIGHT'. What's great is the guy doing it only got into the Fall properly about a year ago, so he's been out and bought all the albums. I'm trying to convince him it's going to be full of forty year old blokes scrapping.
