The Garden is located near the Glencoe and Braeside Metra train stations.
Most trains running between Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Chicago stop at Glencoe or at Davis Street. For a schedule of trains, contact Metra Metropolitan Rail at (312) 322-6777 or www.metrarail.com.
If you prefer to walk, depart from the Braeside Metra station and walk 1.3 miles west along Lake Cook Road (also known as County Line Road) to the Garden.

Maybe this is lame, but I think I enjoyed the architectural boat tour I had to go on in highschool.

The primate center alone is worth it!

Ghost or no ghost, The Green Mill is a neat little place with full-on 20's atmosphere and nice live jazz/swing depending on what night you go. Campone was a fixture there back in the dizay.
