Liked the first series, thought the 2nd one was a crude disaster: over-reliance on Merchant and/or the woman behaving in ridiculous fashion, and just generally clumsy in scripting and execution
Not crap though, that Les Dennis episode kills me, and Patrick Stewart's appearance was fantastic.

13It's a bit hit and miss, though I remember thinking the same thing about the Office when it came out, only to rewatch episodes and find them hilarious.
The Patrick Stewart bit, Ben Stiller, Kate Winslet, all great. The second season looks to be even better.

14Have you heard the podcasts? They are fantastic. Totally overtaken by Karl Pilkington and his drab views on life. Wonderful. Just been on a holiday on with me randomdly guffawing on the beach with my i pod on.
A star in the making and a lot better than Peter Kay.

"How can I cheer up this orphaned kid? By showing him the DVD of Dodgeball? Well, sure, then he'll be happy for an hour and a half, but what then? Do I show him Dodgeball again? Of course, he'll get more out of it, because he'll spot new things the second time round. It's layered; it's written that way. But how many times can I show him Dodgeball? Seven, eight, maybe. Then what?"

Make Dodgeball 2?
Oh, god, I just loved this exchange:
Stiller: Who are you?
Millman: Nobody.
Stiller: What's that? Who?
Millman: [quietly] Nobody.
Stiller: That's right! Nobody. Yeah. And who am I?
Millman: Either Starsky or Hutch, I can never remember.
Stiller: Was that supposed to be funny?
Millman: I don't know, you tell me. You were in it.

20There's a season finale for this show airing on HBO on Sunday night.
I'm watching Season 2 tonight; I hadn't seen it before, and it's damn good. It's more of a "show" than Season 1, which didn't really go anywhere but had quite a few laughs in the individual episodes.
I get the sense that the actors who do this show as themselves have a hell of a good time with it.
