I loved this band as a teenager and still do. Landshark, not so much Where the Wild Things Are.

San Francisco's finest ever?

OH YEAH (along with Flipper of course)

Fang was from Oakland.

My old band played a backyard show with them in Chicago a couple of years ago when they did a reunion tour with Verbal Abuse. They rented an old ass RV truck.

It was interesting because the show took place in little village 2 blocks away from cook county jail. Dude from Fang made some remarks about being in jail and kept pointing to the joint which was behind him.

I'm digging Landshark and Where The Wild Things Are all over again. I read somewhere that Metallica (Cliff Burton era) used to cover The Money Will Roll Right in. (!)

I saw them, or whats left of them, a few months ago. Surprisingly great show but I fucked up my back pretty bad. I don't remember what happened exactly but I couldn't walk for a few days. Good show.

Still not crap.

Is Jim Martin (ex-FNM and Bill & Ted guest star) still playing guitar for these guys? He was the last I saw of them. Cut off his beard too, which was confusing.

HELL TO THE YEAH.

Crime, man.

Hardly anyone cares about them.

Except me, you, and Sonic Youth apparently.

Not sure about the "SF's finest" part, but tender caring I do, especially for hot wire my heart & Baby You're So Repulsive many many times over.

Sorry, go on with the Fang appreciation. apologize for the polite hijack

This band is not crap, but they could've been a whole lot better.
