I think every album was better then the one before it. They never lost me through their entire output.
If there was a god I would thank him every day for putting me on Earth in time to witness Fugazi from start to finish.

13 songs is one of the best collections of music ever made, top 3 easily
Every one of their records is fantastic....I don't know why you guys are slagging 'instrument' it's awesome I listen to it all the time

Me and a friend brought it when we were about 17 at random in a record store in NZ because we'd kinda heard of them and the cover was "cool".
Best impulse buy ever. That record changed my life. I only really like their records after than one. The others sound... like they are trying too hard.

The Argument though the recording sounds kind of weird.
Picking your favorite Fugazi record is a lot like picking your favorite Zeppelin.

I still like 13 Songs (release technicalities aside). They were doing different, interesting stuff that kind of dissipated after the early period.
Of course, I think the Embrace record is incredible, so there you go.
