Tons of folks have groove. Insanity implies some lack of grip on what he was doing. Keith Moon knew exactly what he was doing and he did it unlike anyone. This is not insanity, it is invention.

I have this same argument with my best friend, an absolutely incredible drummer. He hates Keith Moon and worships John Bonham. Then again, he listens to Incubus and Killswitch Engage. Does anyone really want to be in that same company? Really?
