i might have to check this band out when they come to Baltimore in August.
Have you ever seen a show at Sonar?
I haven't so I'm curious as to which room it'll be in and how the sound will be.

The sound at the Blowfly show was pretty good, I don't know which room is which but it was the room they don't usually have dance nights in.

Say hi to Craig when you go. When did you go back to Bodymore?

WAR METAL?

Check out Destroyer 666, Gospel Of The Horns, Bestial Mockery, Bestial Warlust, Hobbs Angel Of Death.

Not this Poseur Shite.

hmmm, Lair of the Minotaur are poseurs huh? Maybe if they changed their name to Bestial Minotaur they'd earn your respect.

Nah, it's not about respect, Just about boredom with their music. yeah yeah, 2 of the bands listed have the word Bestial in their names, but if you actually check out these bands, and compare them to L.O.T.M., you'll hear exactly what I'm saying.

Minotaur's not that brutal, not that aggresive. They're Pelican playing "War Metal" on this album. They're indie rockers hopping trends. Had a "Grindcore" band, an Instrumental Neurosis/Isis inspired band, and now Minotaur.

I just prefer my Metal to be brutal, underground, and vital. This band, to me is High On Fire Lite. And High on fire got old after "Blessed Black Wings".

If you like L.O.T.M. and are interested in hearing these other bands, I'd totally love to sendspace some for you. I think you'll be heavily impressed.

You HAVE been gone a while. :)

I am trying to check out this Minotaur band, but the internets aren't cooperating. I should probably be cleaning anyway.

I'd be interested in hearing them.. though for my tastes L.O.T.M is plenty heavy. I assume you probably despise 3 Inches of Blood too?

and for IronyEngine here is the best place to hear some of L.O.T.M stuff:
