jealous? of who?

why wolfmother of course.

i hate people. especially people who like wolfmother or mike patton.

I don't mind Mike Patton...too much, that is...

...and I'm voting for Rowland S. Howard, without question. Whoopee, Duane has better technique. Suck my fucking dick. The Jesus Lizard wouldn't have fucking existed without the Birthday Party, and Denison never came close to the kind of insane noise that Howard could make his Jaguar puke up. Hell, Sonic Youth have to practically annihilate their poor guitars every night for all that noise, and Howard came close to that type of shit easily on albums like Junkyard and barely broke a string. Howard is a very underrated guitarist.
Life...life...I know it's got its ups and downs.

im voting for Rowland.

with that said, don't forget that he had the masterful mick harvey backing him up, so he could be a totally strung out piece of shit, and the song had a chance to hang together - provided tracey and the drummer kept going.

mr. denison did that all on his own. I do find his right hand a little stiff, compared to RSH, though, and that's what does it for me. Rowland could swing like a motherfucker.

mike patton keeps getting brought up. which gets me thinking of fantomas. which brings me to an interesting idea:

a denison v buzzo thunderdome

i'd vote for buzz, easily, but denison is great and i think it would make for an interesting thunderdome

funny how that one ex-melvins dude who played bass isn't in the band anymore. keeps getting thrown out of bands. i heard this time, they didn't even tell him, just recorded and released an album without him.
