I wish they had nailed him for something worse. Everyone's gonna laugh this off after a while, and he'll get plenty of free drinks for the rest of his life. I bet there are some real skeletons in his closet that the public wouldn't take so kindly to though. He'll probably get off easy, all things considered.

I think he had a news conference around 2:15 (Eastern). His news conference is the headline on the NYT website right now. I don't know if he "came clean," but it looks like an admission of guilt...straight up.

Yeah I just heard his spiel, it was the first I've heard of the thing. What I mean is, he probably won't give any details about the ho bizness.

I am very, very glad that my pal Amy did not quit her antitrust lawyer gig to go work for him - he used to be a partner in her firm.
