He did a bunch of other stuff 'round that time too though - interesting guy. I wonder what he's up to now.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

when I wrote this, I thought y'all were talking about the headache ep.

I'd just woken up, basically.

"Big Black/Songs About Fucking (1987)
The pictures on the album jacket are quoted from Japanese X-rated graphic novel "The Rapeman" (written by Keiko Aizaki, drawn by Shintaro Miyawaki)."

Steve, help :)

Hmmm, I'd always thought that Steve did the SAF drawings... I recall him doing artwork for other bands around that time... The first Breaking Circus ep, etc. Am I crazy?

The "Songs About Fucking" artwork was all lifted from Japanese comics. I don't remember which ones.

I did most of the other Big Black artwork, not including the Savage Pencil drawing (Edwin is about the nicest guy on earth and super funny), some artwork for other bands, inc. Breaking Circus, Rifle Sport and a couple others.

Was there a special edition cover of SAF? I seem to recall reading somewhere that Jello Biafra was given a special edition copy for some reason, maybe as a sign of solidarity in the face of the obscenity trial the Dead Kennedys went through in re the Giger insert in Frankenchrist.

If there was such an 'edition,' what was on the cover?

I suppose this is a question for Steve.
