2004: christ, still too close to call...i came home from the office last evening to find my love had just produced the brokaw soundtrack thing-y you all were talking up. i must say, that new year record did nothing for me on the first listen. at the moment, i'm tempted to call either sonic nurse or molina's pyramid electric number one, but i'm just not sure... all told, i don't think i've heard a record this year as great as last year's top 4. both the forthcoming magnolia electric and bonnie/sweeney albums belong in that league, but i s'pose they don't qualify. fuck.
