Since this poll was posted, I streamed all three albums, bought a Self Titled CD on Discogs, and watched the documentary. I totally missed the bus on KARP when they were happening, I'm thankful for being exposed to them here. I can see why people consider bands such as Helmet to be rather boring and lackluster when compared to KARP. I wish I had been onto them when they were still together, their shows must have been righteous. I'm glad I've at least found them now.

Most definitely N/C, and Self Titled by a mile and a half.

Also check out The Whip, a later band in which Joe Preston replaces their guitarist Chris. Their collected tracks just came out last year.

Had no idea of the machinations of the breakup. Whle watching towards the end, found myself getting a bit ticked off at the junkie guitarist who fucked up the band. Selfish cunt. They release Self Titled, everyone loves it, they hit the road to tour the album and the guy abruptly says turn the van around, no more Karp, I want to go home to be a junkie.
