Imagine Dragons have been flying Palestine flags at their shows for the past year. Plus I’ve never knowingly heard a note of their music so they have that going for them.

If we pare it down to the only two songs I recognize by either band, “Radioactive” vs “How You Remind Me”, I’d go with Imagine Dragons. The latter is an abomination and a station turner. My daughter loved the former, and if she’s happy, I’m happy.

Yeah, i think the visual aesthetics of how ID present themselves is never going to be anyone here's cup of tea. That shit will never look cool to me. Like many on here I found them a surprisingly harmless listen. Faux aggressive, slightly hip hop infused, rock-pop. It's like if U2 got really into NIN in the 90s and sanded off all the edges. They're skim milk but can write a big hook.

Nickelback is a two-headed snake of absolute suck - the cloying shithead power ballad about losing the girl baked in sepia-toned nostalgic cheese and shit, and then somehow an even shittier side where they try to ape Motley Crue and write about coke and strippers but end up sounding horrifically Canadian. Even that horrible song posted a page ago is them aping a shitty Puddle of Mud song (another terrible band, but they at least knew how a song was crafted!) When that is the quality you're trying to strive for, what fucking hope is there for you? Endless CRAP.

Imagine Dragons is absolute crap too, but that's all on the frontman's rapping. The band is storebrand Linkin Park after their "indie" turn, which is not good at all, but the frontman's limp rhymes and terrible rhythm couldn't flip a lilypad. CRAP but better than Nickelback.

Puddle of Mud's biggest hit ripped off the progression from "I Saw your Mommy" by Suicidal Tendencies. I remember hearing that shit song on the radio.
