not to be nitpicky, but that would be the standard setup for the 1970 studio...and i'm sure once you answered that question it would answer your questions about Loaded...i find it a pretty unremarkable album, especially from a recording standpoint...most of the songs aren't that great themselves, but the ones that had been around the previous year were infinitely better when they played live...of course, the presence of Moe helped that a LOT, as the entire dynamic of the band sounded, uh, like the actual Velvet Underground...had Loaded been recorded by any other band i'm sure i wouldn't own it...but as it stands, from time to time i still try to make myself like it...but they were a band trying to do something they werern't really capable of doing (and someone no one really should have been doing in the first place...) making a "hit" record in the early 70s...

while the first 2 LPs were innovations in sound and style, the next 2 were showcases of lou reed's songwriting mastership or whatever word of praise fits there.

so what's yer 1970 studio got?

eh...some of them are pretty good, not not played to their potential on the album...some of them like "Who Loves the Sun" and "Lonesome Cowboy Bill"...come on!

and it ain't my 1970 studio! i don't know nothin' bout it, i merely suggested finding the archetype and find Loaded...beyond a vague suggestion i'm no good!

2. sad song
3. ride into the sun
4. love makes you feel ten feet tall
5. walk and talk

funny, since not ONE of those songs are on the album...

yes, i mentioend that because i thought you might not consider them part of loaded... but i do, and they're fantastic
