Oh man, no one even commented on my two beautiful animals. Damn. Shit. Bugger. I don't know what to do but use unoffensive swear words. Twit. Dick.

All the animals rock, All animals rock, Animals all rock.

David, I was going to comment on your combo, but I thought it might be a bit un-manly.

That is a very pretty cat. Is it male or female?

That's great that they both get on too. Did you buy them at the same time then?

I had to give away my cat yesterday...he was a nice guy, but was really wild and obviously wanted to be outside running around tearing shit up...I sent him to my sisters farm where he can be free to do what he wants and not cooped up in an apartment.
Sigh.
Klikatat, I'll miss ya.

We have a kitten that's quite aggressive. He likes to bite and scratch, and I worry that if this is allowed to go unchecked he might grow into quite a violent kitty. Can anyone with a cat here tell me if this is normal?

He's such a cute little fucker too - I wish I had a pic to post here. He's got a hernia. Poor little thing.

Your cat's personality later in life is directly related to how it was brought up as a kitten.

Try and pay your cat a lot of attention and stroke it a lot. Let him sit on your lap for a while if he wants to. Don't ever shout at him. If the cat wants something, try and sort it out - open the door for it, feed it, pick it up, stroke it, whatever.

If it is ever really bad, you can tap it on the nose. Not too hard though.

Talking to your cat is good too. Eye contact is important too. That may sound ridiculous.

Basically try and socialise with your cat. Think of how a neglected child grows up - it's similar to that.

One other thing, your cat is a boy. It is more likely to act boyish. You could get it neutered - this reduces testosterone. Some cats do bite. Mine likes to chew my hand when having a play fight. Your cat may have play fights with you. They do this with each other when they are kittens. Sometimes, they also strangely bite people "affectionately".
