Jesus are people fucking retarded these days.

Im gonna buy a brand new car with a big dent in the side too.

no siur - BUT WHAT you do is ewhren you do buy the new car, you take one good siwft kick to dent it yerfself - that wy it's already done - and you don't drive for 3 months and THEN cry when you have your first dent

wELL, I meant the part that kicking a dent in your new car before you drive it off the lot is conventional wisdom... get the first boo-boo out of the way immediately off the bat

Re: typos - you know it is a funny thing to represent yourself with typos when a little hammered... it's not that you're literally incapacitated/incapable of doing the right typing... but maybe you just supersuperrush your typing take one look and say *YEA* and then hit submit... but it is still a conscious choice, so I concede it to be a bit false, sure... false as in a true measure of inebriation, but not to say it must be false that someone happens to be hammered some... I meant its just not PROOF. but it could happen to coincide with hammerdness as it did for me just a scant a few hours and over $10 worth of Taco Bell ago... well let's sleep good tongiht FO SHO.

When I was like 15, I cobbled together a guitar out of a body and neck of some old Japanese Jazzmaster wannabe knockoff.

It was finished in what looked like thick black housepaint, so I started sanding it away with the idea of repainting it.

While sanding it, I discovered that there were layers of red beneath the black paint. So I thought it might be cool to give it a fucked-up look by sanding away the black in places, leaving black and red streaks with huge sanding marks. Then I gave it a light coat of polyurethane.

It is now my main, and only, electric guitar (although that says more about my procrastination in buying new stuff than it does about the guitar).

I hope that trying something like this is not considered an attempt to make a "relic" out of the guitar, since that was not the my intention at all.
