Make a couple soft-boiled eggs. Toast the bread and put butter and jam on it. Break/cut up and mix into the eggs.

if you like soft-boiled eggs, you'll thank me for this.

You could also make French Toast, which the French call pain perdu, which translates to "lost bread."

Yes. My grandmother used to make this for me when I was a kid, total comfort food.
