green shirt guy was lame. if you are his friend, tell him that bumping and jumping around is fine. but when you are ruining the time of everybody around you, that is not fine.

and trying to actually fight the band who you are there to see is all sorts of fucked up.

My friend Lacy shot some cool pictures. Can't wait to see more of these:

Hey, give him a call. He might appreciate it.

I doubt this guy was anybody's "friend."

Yeah, the green shirt guy ("Dave") kept hanging on me and dragging me around as well. It's a strange dynamic about rock shows, how if the crowd is right and everybody is feeling it, a critical mass will be reached and that kind of roughness becomes fun. But when it's just one guy trying to "start up a pit" when everybody is obviously on a different level, it's just a nuisance.

Dave's antics were waay worse at the start of the show, until enough people grabbed hold of him and told him that if he didn't chill out he was going to have to leave. Then he did calm down a little and started just messing with people who were already dancing around a bit, mostly just Minotaur and myself.

After being pushed around and pushing him off me enough times, I just decided I'd rather just go along with it than to leave the area and go stand at the back or something. All in all, I ended up having a good time. It didn't hurt my appreciation of the music at all.

BTW, I apologize if my contribution to the ruckus diminished anyone's experience in any way. I pretty much kept it under wraps, but there were a few times when I was pushed into some people standing. If that happened to be you, again I apologize.

All in all it was a great show. Excellent music, great company, a lot of fun. Definitely a good night out.

I was right behind Green Shirt Dave while he was "feeling it." I didn't get my beer spilled, so I found no issues. Though, I did see kerble's beady eyes and sweaty brow as he was being coerced into the one-man mosh pit. Then I saw you, Col. Panic, with his other sweaty, drunk arm around you and nearly pull you to the ground. I think STNNNG were the only ones who found that whole thing amusing. If that's true, then you all are dead inside and Green Shirt Dave is a hero. Think about it.

The above-posted photo is an image of The Classical grabbing Green Shirt Dave's head and pushing him out of the way. I guarantee you, nobody found his actions amusing.

Just look at the reaction of the people in the background. That kinda says it all.

He kept knocking into Faiz.

And I may have been moving a little bit, but I was hardly dancing. Gawd, like I'm that uncool.
