I really liked this movie, but it became a little like a Steven Segal script directed by David Lynch. I guess that sounds good...
... I object to this 'Supervillan' aspect. You knew Josh Brolin wasn't going to survive his project, and there's where the film started to turn into a comic (for me). One part Silent Gunman, one part Terminator, one part Leon. It was a fun ride, but I didn't really give one shit about any of the characters.
How many times can the grim spectre of death show its face in a Hollywood movie? Don't get me wrong. I love the idea of Death looking like Stewart Larkin:
