upgrading PC tower case to something quieter. New super quiet fans too. Replaced the fan in my board power supply with a Noctua shockmounted fan and now it is undetectable. When I work I sometimes have up to 3 computers in this tiny room on simultaneously and the fan noise was super getting on my nerves. The room gets mega hot too so I might buy one of those silent bladeless fans too.

Just picked up a MiniDSP UMIK-1. I'm converting an 8ftx12ft room in my garage into a control room and this will be used with Room EQ Wizard to do measurements and hopefully acoustic treatment once the walls are back up. Currently working on new electrical and isolation via GenieClips + furring channel, insulation, and adding mass to an exterior wall.

Currently haggling with the seller for a black 1985 Tama Swingstar kit. Includes a double kick pedal, throne, all cymbals/stands. Cymbals are low or mid-grade, but I dig the Paiste 404 Heavy 14" hi-hats so I'll probably not upgrade those. Stands are all Tama from the mid 80s.
