Dead wrong. I couldn't top the matchbox 20 omission and I didn't want to piss you off......I mean after all the most embarrassing album I own is your solo material.

Some people believe that the worn-out, "musician"/metalhead/meathead cliches of our junior high school years were somehow OK, 'cause at least those bands "knew how to rock."
Knowing how to rock means as much to me as tying your shoes. Great, you can do it too, some accomplishment. Partytime head-wag nonsense with no mystery or tension, no rhythmic variation, no lyrical insight, no instrumental prowess beyond what any Sam Ash loser is capable of (the ability to noodle aimlessly while innocent customers wait in line to buy patch cords)... Why is something so incredibly traditional, so utterly generic, seen as the new messiah for a floundering scene? It is because most of you idiots secretly long to go back to junior high when you smoked pot all day and actually understood the simple music you listened to?
While I don't often agree with Cosloy's taste, the review is dead on.
