I can't actually tell the difference between his arguments and his ad hominems. They each consist of the same quantity of insults, decontextualized quotes, and random pictures.

I mean, earlier in this thread he demanded that anyone wanting to know the effects of illegal immigration should go back to the first page, which didn't have any arguments on the effects of illegal immigration - his actual argument was on the second page, and consisted of empty rhetoric.

I like how he justifies his own in(s)anity with the "performance art" claim. It smacks of underdeveloped concept-art college project.

There are plenty of people from all over the world who would be willing to come here legally and work if they could.

right. we have much better border enforcement at our airports. i don't think that's fair to the spanish poor. i don't think it's fair to our border states.

I've been following this beast of a thread for a few days now and, to be honest, I don't understand much of what's being said anymore. So, I'll revamp it:

I don't think many of you are fully understanding the who, what, where, when, why and how someone finds themselves at the business end of what we refer to as an "illegal immigrant," and just what exactly that entails for the majority (if not the entirety) of their lives (not to mention if they have a family).

I hate to say this - or maybe it's been said already and my brain's been mushed by rage, and but so I'll reiterate: if just a few of you found yourselves on the other side of the coin (the illegal side) perhaps your contention on this subject would evolve so that you would be willing to see that some of your arguments and recommendations really don't mean dick and are so far away from helping or providing aid to humanity that it's fucking disgusting. As Steve mentioned about a billion pages back, what we refer to as "Illegal" immigration is happening anyways & it's going to continue to happen despite your charts, maps, quotes, and "I know this one guy that's illegal and he's o.k." et al.

The question is how to fairly accomodate everyone. I get the feeling that some of you think the people chosing to come here - despite overwhelming prejudice and just about nothing in their favor - that they somehow have a reduced brain size. Since many of you never got past a few high-school foreign language courses, I have pictured that when these immigrants are speaking another language to you or just in your general direction - on the bus or whatever - that you deride them to lower-level citizenry.

I'm not trying to romanticize it, but the story of how many of these people came to the business-end of being Illegal in another country should rattle your brains a little bit. It should be telling you that something isn't right in the world and that it's your responsibility to lend a hand and make it better.

"They're taking jobs away from us!" or "They're destroying the economy!" Jesus Christ, you've got to be kidding with that. What arrogance!
