no slight to rick or anyone else for that matter, but i'm reminded of a bit between the zappa bros. on conan from years ago.

ahmet decided he'd no longer talk. he'd sing everything, issue was he wouldn't do it solo. he needed guitar. so dweezl would have to play. when dweezl got tired of hearing ahmet he turned to conan and said, "the great thing is when i stop, he stops."

get my point?
buy my guitar. now with pictures!

This scene was confusingly shot, I'll agree with that. The hostages in clown masks were dressed up to look like the Joker's goons, and they'd be shot by the cops. It is a Joke. The doctor part confused me a bit, it was like they just had some spare doctor outfits in the costume department and were like, "Hey, we gotta use these."

Bats assaulted some officers and they assumed he was trying to stop their hostage rescue.

I asssumed the real goons had done up like docs to take over the hospital and take hostages.

This movie was rad with a few flaws. Deconstructing the plausibility of a comic book movie is pretty dumb. I'm fairly certain you can't flip a semi end over end with an aircraft cable, but whaddo I know?

I like Re-bob.
I've yet to see the movie, but I may avoid seeing it at the cinema completely. If I head to see it, it's almost certain that I'll have to see it with a 3 year old child. This child couldn't stop talking during Iron Man, and it ruined the experience for me. Even the tall black guy threatening to beat the crap out of the guys making sex noises throughout the movie couldn't save that experience.
Unless I can convince people that this movie is not appropriate for a three year old, I'll have to wait either for the DVD, or until it hits the Imax in Bradford.
I have ideas though. If I can make the kid cry by saying mean things, then he probably is gonna cry at the new Batman movie.

This movie is not appropriate for a thirteen-year-old. So you're safe there.

Yeah, but not only do you have to convince the parents, but the kid too. How do you convince a three yearold kid that something they want is not worth having?
You can make them believe that England is a giant boat, but if you try to explain to them that they shouldn't see the new Batman, they'll tell you that you're full of crap.

The Joker gave Batman the wrong address. It is a Joke.

Really? I thought Batman chose Harvey Dent purposely because he was going to take over for Batman as a hero with a face and that was why It was so fucked up.

I'll be a little disappointed if it was just the Joker giving him the wrong address.

It was. The cops showed up at the other address right as it blowed up, remember?
