Two weeks ago, my lady friend had just returned from an out-of-town photography gig, taking pictures of hedge fund managers and their anorexic semen receptacle wags. Fuck "yuppies", this was more like top 3% tax bracket. And they treated her like a peasant for the entire night.

She was pretty upset by the whole experience when she came back. After a while, I ended up throwing Goat on, and within five minutes we were just laughing about it.

My dream now is to unleash David Yow on a country club hedge fund charity auction/gambling night. Short of class warfare, I can't imagine anything better.

Was listening to Nub last night. No other song has constantly made me whisper a little "Holy Shit" every-damn-time I re-listen to it. Can somebody give me a tip on how air-drum, air-guitar, and air-bass simultaneously to this song?

I also really like Down, esp. The Best Part. Yessir.

I've been watching a lot of Jesus Lizard on youtube while I'm supposed to be working.

It pretty much leaves me disatisfied with all other music.

I noticed today that the only records I had in my car for the last two weeks have been Liar, Down, Goat and Bang.

Whenever some halfhead riding in my car politely asks me to put something else in while I'm listening to Down, I put in Liar as a "hey, shut the fuck up. You're in my car you douche. Now sit still while this shit rapes your brain" kind of thing.

For several months now, Goat has been an official part of my car. As I was clumsily trying to put the CD into the player, I accidentally jammed it into a slick crevasse directly above the player and it's been stuck there ever since. Incidentally, my car has had all sorts of problems since then.

Goat car? Not Crap.

Best band ever.

Nub is a favorite. I brings to mind a killer being birthed, twisting down the birth canal to the tune of evil slide guitar and then hitting the ground running, teeth bared and blades whirling.
