My "main squeeze" lately has been a VM Jazzmaster that I also got used. Unfortunately instead of getting a free pickup upgrade, the original owner of mine had taken a triangular file to the "vintage correct" Jazzmaster bridge (with the two grub screws per string threaded perpendicularly through six tiny pieces of all-thread). So I got a Staytrem bridge to match the "modified" 9.5" neck radius, and I should probably never spend another dime "upgrading" anything on any other guitar, because that was the single most impactful $100 I have ever spent.
Aw man, that sucks... glad it worked out once you got the bridge replacement in there though. I've heard good things about the Staytrems. Nice looking guitar!

After lugging around my guitar cabinet these last few weeks, I decided to get serious about something that's easier to carry. My cab is also kinda shrill which actually triggers my ear in a bad way. It doesn't seem like the right cabinet for the kind of music I'm playing either. So I finally bit the bullet to try a Tonex Cab. They recently went up in price like everything else, but I've been watching and waiting to get a deal and one came my way. I'm looking forward to unlocking some capabilities from the modeler. The Tonex Cab has a knob to blend in an EQ that gives a more amp in the room feel. Hopefully it's good enough. I've watched and read so many reviews on it, seems like it's worth a shot. Hopefully my back and ears will thank me.

I found a little active 4x1 mixer with a transformer made by Radio Design Labs.

I have really been liking the Radial 2:1 passive mixer but have found that I often want to blend another element into a single track, so I thought I’d give it a shot.

They make a lot of utilitarian but nice stuff, I know it will get used for track summing at a minimum, but if its super cool and offers much a difference from the Radial I may try to get another if its still on sale and chain them together.

Found a J. Rockett Flex Drive on Music Go Round’s website for pretty cheap ($85 including shipping). I’ve had really great experiences with J. Rockett’s dirt pedals in the past. This one is an MIAB specifically to cop Malcolm Young’s tone. There’s plenty of flexibility with toggle switches to modify treble cut, fat boost/cut and clipping so I’m pretty excited to try it out in my rig.
