Through intelligence, by capturing a Nazi submarine in which the crew did not manage to destroy the contents, and subsequently cracking the encryption of the Enigma machine that the Nazis were using to encrypt their communications. Brute force? A punch in the eye? That's how the Nazis were defeated? LOL. About five seconds of using a human brain would tell you that if your solution was correct, "violence is the answer", then the Nazis would never have been defeated. Violence was key to their undertakings. Duh?

Um, how about through some amount of thought, enlightenment, and subsequent political action. If it was up to people like your persona to end slavery in the US, we would still have it in place.

Well even if we *did* win the "war", which we clearly didn't, then the answer would be a severe technological advantage, right? If it was just straight-up violence, on a level playing field (like sword vs sword, for example) we would have been slaughtered BADLY, no? Asses handed to us? I think that history will show that folks who are being invaded, as the Iraqi people were, will always fight with extra zeal. Unless there is a big mismatch in numbers (and we would be outnumbered in Iraq, numbers working against us) or technology (let's say it was sword vs sword), the home team is going to win because they have infinitely more stake in the battle.
So clearly this one would again be a case of our technological advantage being the answer, not just purely "we used violence". If you have any capacity for logical thought, you'd see that if violence was the answer to "winning", then terrorists would always "win". But you don't even believe what you're typing anyway.
