Giving an example that has nothing to do with Fred or Steve... if you hate every single person on the planet, and wish they were all dead, and did everything in your power to ruin the lives of everybody you ever met, etc, then you are clearly a prick. But because you're being true to yourself, rather than trying to act like mister sunshine when you really want to kill everybody you ever see, then you are genuine.

The two are not mutually exclusive, at all.

It's actually kinda funny to imagine a prick who is not at least somewhat genuine. Like, a guy who acts like a prick, but really he's not a prick at all and he's just a real sweet, caring, nice guy.

Every time I see this picture i wonder if he actually plays piano or if he's listening to the tone of it for some technical/micing application.
