People who ride their bikes the wrong way down busy one way streets, in particular Rue St Laurent at night. They are often hipster twats with no helmet and no reflectors on their "cool" bicycles.

for me it's cyclists who shout "share the road" while blatantly disregarding traffic laws.

Ah yes, the dreaded PORTMANTEAU. It's rather fitting that the portmanteau is most commonly used to describe things that suck, i.e. "smog," "stagflation," "gasohol," etc.

Stupid people.

Actually those are snipped off at the dealer. South of Effingham it is not an option - its done as a part of the dealer prep.

(love that name "Effing" ham)

geiginni wrote:Last night I was listening to Ravel's string quartet and when it came to the second movement an image of Spike Lee sitting in an oversized chair reading came to picture in my mind. Aaaarrrrrgh!!! Fuck you, Nike! Fuck you, Spike Lee! Stop ruining some of the greatest music ever written with your shillery!

I'm so sick of this! It's worst with classical stuff too, since it's totally abstract music that otherwise has no preconceived imagery.

I don't want to associate Ravel's quartet with Nike!
I dan't want to associate Beethoven's 7th Symphony, 3rd Mvmt with salad dressing!
I don't want to associate a phrase from Stravinsky's Petrushka with Coca Cola.
I'm sick of this shit!

Holy shit Geiger. Well put and true but you need to take a deep breath (fuck u skype). It could be worse. You could have the song Candyman stuck in your head for three weeks. By the way, you forgot AA and Rhapsody in Blue - not classical but they sure ruined a nice piece.

(Is LWN crawlin around making stress up there on the 14th floor or what?)
