qb - kerry collins (concerned about moss’ status)

rb - julius jones (sat out this week but should be fine)

rb - lamont jordan (took a chance for when i drafted him but he’s starting to pay off)

wr - steve smith (incredible numbers so far)

wr - plaxico burress (pleasant suprise so far)

te - aaron kinney (pretty irrelevant)

def - cincinatti (awesome awesome awesome)

k - lawrence tynes (decent)

backups:
qb - kelly holcomb (looking good so far)
rb - marshall faulk (he actually touched the ball last night)
wr - eddie kinnison
wr - lee evans
def - redskins (put lavar on the field!)

i’ve won 3 $10 bonuses so far for highest scoring team and highest scoring player!

you have pretty solid wideouts and solid RB's for sure. (I'm loving jordan as well). you should get a better QB if that option is available and if it's not too expensive. we have 3$ transactions in ours, it's not too bad but you have to pick wisely otherwise it'll keep adding up on ya'

I could really use some insurance on Defense. I have dalls and baltimore who haven't done much. I was thinking about picking up detroit or giants...

baltimore's team has been an all around bust this year.

any suggestions on defense?

i’m confident in collins as my starter. holcomb as my backup will get better as the year goes on considering he had very little reps in the offseason and now up till this point. they have the receivers too.

i have the bengals and redskins defense. bengals i picked up cause the skins had a bye and cincinnatti was playing chicago. they’ve turned out awesome. i think they’ve scored around 20 points per game so far for me. redskins just don’t get the turnovers. but i’ll start them this week since they are playing san francisco.

agree about baltimore. i can’t stand brian billick who thinks of himself as an “offensive genius”. he is so egotistical and to see his offense look like what it does is awesome. there’s a chance boller will be back this sunday but i don’t think it’ll make much difference.

I know there are other, more appropriate venues to discuss this, and this thread has been dead for a long time, but I was wondering if anyone here plays.

I am in a 14-team dynasty league that I started with a friend while we were students in Chicago. Most of the other guys were from downstate. Now we live in a few different states, but we all get together once a year for our auction/annual meeting - usually somewhere in Illinois. We are in our 10th season.

$100 salary cap, plus up to ten keepers each year. A player bought at auction can be retained for five years at the auction price. After that the player becomes a free agent or can be franchised - much like in the NFL.

It's a deep and competitive league. I won the championship in '01, then went through some losing and rebuilding years when Marshall Faulk went into decline.

This year I'm 7-1 so far.
