I don't know if the joke would make sense to you, if maybe it's only an American thing... but when kids are in school, when they are maybe 10 years old, girls give boys notes that say

And stupid shit like that. So I was making a joke, that you can stalk cool bands at their practice space and then slip a note under their door like a 10-year-old would do.
Oh. it didn't make sense to me.
When I was eight, you just had to give a girl an apple from your lunchbox to get to make out with her.

We have been looking for a bass player for 4 months now. All of the guys that come over are either into slap funk or a total metal head.. JUST PLAY THE SONGS WE GAVE YOU!!!!!
We are more of a Alice in Chains meets Tool meets candlebox type stuff.

The only time I've used a flier to find a drummer, it worked. We got many calls and jammed with several ill-suited people, until our friend who we didn't know played drums called. And it worked. For a while. All bands fall apart eventually. This one after about 8 months. Stupid entropy.

The only time I ever put an ad in the paper looking for people to play with, this really crazy girl shows up and I end up getting married to her a few years later.
