I've no reason to believe Mel Gibson's, or anyone else's intentions in mainstream Hollywood were anything other than making shit-tons of cash. Have you?

Seriously, I don't want to get caught up in anything. I agree to peacefully disagree.

Back to Nick Cage! Matchstick Men was good.

i didn't know this.

i can't work out if this is creepy or not.
i guess we'll have to wait to see if guy picciotto has a daughter before i judge this too harshly.

Yeah, they're an oppressed minority that need protection...

Bigotry in any direction encourages bigotry in all directions. It makes it acceptable, and it gives people the feeling they need to respond in kind.
It encourages a bad cycle.

Put another way, being able to say "I stick up for minorities" is a lesser claim than "I treat all people fairly".

While I have no strong opinion of this actor, it usually depends on the movie. I think this poll isn't representative of his "worst" efforts with the exception of "The Family Man" and "Gone in Sixty Seconds". World Trade Center hasn't even been released yet.

Exluding those others selected, I would put in place the following.

Fire Birds
Amos & Andrew (hello!)
City of Angels (Wim Wenders version did it better)
8mm
Captain Corelli's Mandolin
Windtalkers ( come on, ten times worse than Woo/Cage's Face/Off)
National Treasure
