It's so tough to make a decision here, since Kind of Blue and Get Up With It are two of my favorite records of all time...totally different periods.

But he has so many incredible periods and was around for so much. Not enough love can be given to Miles.

I don't really have a favorite Miles Davis era. I like most of his stuff from Charlie Parker to Bitches Brew. My least favorite Miles Davis era is the 1980s, Amandla in particular, is not my cup of tea.

Agreed.

I have a tough time with jazz after the '50's, including Miles.

We've had this argument before.
