Seconded. I saw it by myself one weekday night and was exceptionally disturbed. It is beautifully shot, well acted, understated, and finally truly horrifying. Raw as hell.

I saw Catherine Breillat's Anatomy of Hell thinking "ew" at every opportunity.

Another good one...more psychological and effectively artistic in its aesthetics...is 'In a Glass Cage'. Not gut-wrenching neo-snuff, but truly disturbing in an interesting way. I wouldn't watch it if you have issues with pedophilia and the like, though...a friend of mine had a very hard time after seeing a bit of it.
