Don't you have a Mesa Road Ready 1x15 Alex?

That is what I'm playing through right now, and it is pretty damn loud. Loud enough to be heard over guitar and drums.

You could also look at a V2 or B25-B, as they are 50 watt Ampeg tube heads.

Yes, I have that Mesa cab.

I'm intrigued by the V4B.
What makes them different from the V4 - sorry, I don't know Ampeg well. Is the B for "bass" and the V4 is a guitar amp?

The allure of the Bassman is that it's a great guitar amp too, but I have plenty of those.

Yep. As I recall they have different eq sections, otherwise theyre basically identical amps.
