My business takes me into Portland a couple of times a month, and I try to sit down to good sushi when I do go. I also spend way too much on soccer and screenwriting magazines, and am always looking for Tottenham and Hearts stuff on ebay.

Music fanzines from the 80s. It's pretty sad, trying to recreate a world you completely missed with fanzines. It's also strange that I'll spend tons of money on things that sometimes went for free back in the day.

also weebles, but I haven't bought any in a while. I have a huge collection though...

Food. Good food is terribly important in my family.

Beer. I can't drink low quality beer.

The other day I splurged on organic milk. $3.80 for a half gallon as opposed to the same price for a gallon of the steroid, anti-body filled version.

The organic milk thing is new to me too. I find that it's awesome! My girlfriend tells me that the commersh-grade stuff has pus in it. That hippie is probably just trying to scare me. But really, I think there is a difference, even in cooking. In drinking, it seems obvious.

I am trying to cut down on the luxuries lately but this organic milk thing might have to stay.

yeah, yuengling is cheap. $5 and change for a 6, but red stripe is like $9 for a 6. (yuengling and red stripe are my favorites.)

also, bass strings. fuck boomers, and slinkies, and whatever the fuck else. DR Hi-Beams. heavy as ya got 'em, please.

beyond that...hanging out. i.e.-drinking, smoking, music. i don't need to do that shit, but i like it.

there really is a difference in cooking - fuller taste, different mouthfeel, etc. same goes for organic farm butter (with way higher amount of butterfat) vs the crappy 79 cent a stick butter.

Records, shows, and the odd time, something other than chicken fillet baguettes from Centra for dinner.
