There's a five year waiting list, I'm afraid. It's a little like the Groucho Club*.

We'll put in a good word though, and try and get you bumped up.

*=Except we still haven't let in Alex James, Damon Albarn and Damian Hirst. We're making them wait.

I'm 30. I'm very happy with where I am and what I'm doing right now.
I am less tolerant of loud noises than I was ten years ago, and I know slightly more about wine. I still can't play poker, and I still spend entirely too much time on the internet. There are certainly 16 year-olds on here who know more about music than I, and I play guitar like a 4 year-old.

I'm 35.

I probably find (other's) music more frustrating than I did at 25 simply because I want to feel passionate about other's music (as I did then) but hear so little that I like. That said, I feel supremely confident about my own music in a way I didn't at 25.

Other than that, my life is shaped by stuff entirely unrelated to age/music such as kids, wife, money, job, houses etc - nothing that doesn't also shape the way millions of 25 year-olds live.

25 was fine, 35 is fine. 45 will (I hope) also be fine.
