Not when you've got a job, a band, a partner and a booking agency to manage as well! Or kids like Adam. I doubt I'll be able to work on anything for periods longer than an afternoon, and even then I'll probably get about, dunno, 8 sessions in maximum?

I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's record.
Is that part of the deal, that the PRF gets to hear it?

Yeah, unfortunately (for you lot) I was planning on making it available for PRFers to listen to. Probably just embarrass myself, but there you go.
I bought one of
these yesterday, which should make the logistics of recording the whole thing a bit easier.

That looks excellent Simmo.
I would love to do this LP in a month thing, but I'm going to be away from computers, and guitars and home for most of Feb.

Figured out what the project is going to be yesterday. Picked out of the bag of projects I thought would be fun but a bit silly. I think I will end up chaneling my inner marsupial to do it though. Finaly I will bring "Dark Side of the Poon" into the world.
The time frame is a good thing, depending on how you approach it doing the whole thing yourself just getting the drum tracks done take a lot of time. Then trying to master and mix things take at least a third of time. Plus getting a real cool cover going on and getting some friends come over and do some tracks is usally a scheduleing mess.
That tascam recorder looks great. Knobs for everything you want!

I signed on, and I'm pretty sure it's just gonna be me doing some acoustic songs on a boom box in my bedroom.
I'm naming my project The Frowned Upon.
